Biography

Hi, I'm Lewis, a Midlands based videographer, editor and aspiring writer/director.

Film and TV had a massive impact on me growing up in a small, working class town. It gave me a way to see the possibilities and stories of the wider world, from a place where there wasn't many opportunities for excitement and adventure.

​

This is a passion I have carried with me through life, and continue to now as a beginner in the industry. I've spent the last few years developing my knowledge and experience with various skills, including directing, editing, writing, cinematography and lighting and much more. Now I'm eager to be putting these skills to use in the professional world however I can.

Alongside my professional work, I work as a filmmaker: writing, directing and editing short film projects that aim to tell original and insightful stories. Themes and ideas I frequently explore in my work include family, the human in the fantastical, and genre/style pastiche. That being said, I'm always up for telling any story that should be told and doing it in a visually exciting way. Clips from my films can be found here on my website and on my Instagram too.

I hold a full, clean UK drivers license and equipment that includes a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, RGB/CCT lights, a RODE microphone and boom pole, all of which are available to help bring any project to life.
